Seelie Knight: A knight in the Seelie court, Meliorn is able to defend himself expertly. This is only by physical means, but he is adept at swordplay and basic hand-to-hand.
As for the TV/book difference/divergence, perfectly fine and would be less confusing for me personally in the long run.
