Mark was never concerned about hurting Vex's ego, despite knowing full well that it had the ability to be injured. "Ever think I might like your roughed up, pulled-an-all-nighter look?" Mark proposed, seeing that they did work long nights into the early morning at Pan. When the two would use up the last of their energy having one last go before crashing in the penthouse.

"Oh could you?" Mark's eyebrows shot up with surprise before they furrowed as he pondered. "And yet you never seem to be in the mood to mesmer me even when you've had, well, my permission all this time.
