It really did feel like the end of the world, and here he was- warm, cozy and loved, trying not to get his hopes up that the others had made it there with them. It was an odd feeling all the way around. "Dunno if we've still got the immortality here or not, so I suppose we best not chance it, eh? No point in taking risks..." Though, knowing them, they would anyway. They were stupid like that.
