"No," he wanted to say 'not yet' or 'we can't be the only ones from home', something like that but it was too uncharacteristically optimistic for him so he let those hopeful followups die in his throat. Though Mark's words made him think of something and he reached out his hand to try and mesmer one of the random people, who then turned away from who they were talking to and yelled in protest as they were forced to roll around in the sand. He smirked.
