Vex all mushy was probably something that Mark needed at that moment. The touch of his lips to his forehead eased some of the tension in his shoulders, reminding him what was really important right now. His eyes met Vex's and said plenty, "We'll be okay so long as we're together." Words that didn't need to be spoken, but they came out just to be certain he knew. "I won't let anything happen to you." Says the kitten to the hundreds-of-years-old fae.
