Power update/clarification for the Echo bc it's tl;dr and convoluted and I'm stupid.
The Echo - Hydaelyn's Blessing. It prevents her mind from being tempered, allows her to have visions of significant events in the past, and allows her to understand anything a being with a soul may say. If there is no soul, she won't be able to understand them. Additionally, it gives her occasional visions in the midst of battle that broadcast an enemy's next attack (1). She will also have realistic visions of her death prior to battles where things will go wrong so that she might avoid such a future (2), and though she handles these quite well it has made for frequent nightmares.
1. Only applicable to enemy attacks that are not instant and takes more than 2.5 seconds to ready. Basically the in-game lore reasons for being able to see area-of-effect attacks and prepare for tank busters, etc. It also applies to ally area-of-effect attacks that take longer than 4 seconds to cast.
2. Only applicable to herself, limited to a maximum of 10 minutes in length (lore explanation for when your group wipes at content). If a blow will be fatal to her, or will be fatal within a short time span, she will have a vision of it (think Final Destination without all the Death out to get you afterwards stuff). This does not mean she can avoid being hurt entirely - often there are things that happen so quickly she only has time to shift enough to receive a severe injury in place of a fatal blow.
It will also not activate in circumstances where someone else will interfere. i.e. when her friend took a fatal blow for her in her place she had no vision, because there was no risk of her dying.
Basically it just keeps only her safe from dying but anything less than that is fair game. And it doesn't prevent injury that could kill her after the battle from infection or whatever. Just the fatal blows. So basically very niche usage and rather fallible.
This aspect would activate very rarely in Xistentia since there are much fewer and less frequent ways to die/things out to kill her.
