Hi there!

Unfortunately we are going to have to say no to the request to circumvent Clint's family situation. Having done some research into the timeline for the MCU, the general consensus appears to be that Age of Ultron took place approximately 3 years after Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is confirmed to take place 2 years after the Battle of New York. There is no official confirmation for how soon afterwards Avengers: Age of Ultron took place; however, it hit cinemas during the following calendar year. Therefore we would estimate that Age of Ultron took place 2-3 years after the Battle Of New York. If we were to assume that Clint hadn't started his family at your current canon point, then his oldest child in Age of Ultron could be no older than 3. Both of his grown children in that movie appear older than that - having looked at screenshots of the kids in Age of Ultron, we would estimate that his oldest son looks around 8 years old.

Due to this, we don't think it would be reasonable to assume that Clint and Laura's family has not been started at his current canon point. We think it likely that, at the very least, his eldest son would have been born already, if not his daughter as well.

That is not to say that you cannot explore Clint's potential feelings for other characters while he is in game. We would only stipulate that you keep to what canon does establish about his family, including the ages of his children and the implications of that for his relationship with Laura.

We hope that seems fair! Please let us know if you have any queries.
